Stampin’ Up Demonstrator

Afternoon all – How lovely is the SUN!

I am feeling a little pink, so thought I would come and have a play and get this blog post done as I have been meaning to tell you all for months that I have become a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator.  I have been purchasing Stampin’ up goodies for about 2 years now, I started with a 6 month virtual hostess share, where you commit to spending £25.00 per month for 6 months, and one of those month you are the hostess so you get the hostess goodies.  I bought loads! I could not resist the card, and the punches, and the stamps….. heaven!

After that I bought a couple of ribbon and paper shares from Julie (who is now my Stampin’ up Mummy) and one day thought I would like to give others the opportunity to start off with these shares, so I gave Julie a call and she signed me up!  Look out for my future post about the shares you can choose.

My starter kit is amazing, so many lovely bits! and this month sees the new catalogue and OMG the new colours are YUMMY!  I have been having a play and will start to show some samples this month, but in the mean time, here is the link to the catalogue, and soon you will also be able to buy on line via my online link…. have a look… here,  then just let me know if you want me to order anything for you.  If you live nearby West Malling or Maidstone, I will be happy to meet you to save postage costs, so that you can spend that little bit more!  If you would like a paper catalogue, the cost is £4.00, but you get a £5.00 discount voucher off your first order so nothing to loose! If that was not enough, Stampin’ Up are also offering a special offer on 3 of their greeting stamp sets.

I did get inspiration for this card form the blogs, but I didn't make a note of who, so if you recognise please let me know as I would love to give you the inspired recognition that is deserved!

I LOVE Valentines…….

Hello everyone

I have been very busy making Valentine’s card this week and weekend and now got a couple to share with you – the rest will be on my Facebook account, so please visit if you have a moment.

So here is the first one

A cute little owl which comes pre-coloured from Digistamp Boutique and therefore makes this one a quick and easy!  The hearts and die cut has a hint of colour but a little hard to see in this photo.  I have used my liquid pearls to highlight and really love the effect on the hearts, so guess you will be seeing that again!

Digi stamp boutique - pre coloured and with sentiment
Embellishments: Doodlebug twine, liquid pearls and clear gloss

Tools used:
Sizzix Eclips for hearts and cut scallop edge

The next card is my favourite Smile

I TOTALLY love my Sizzix Eclips machine.  I have used it some much but when it helps me created this effect I LOVE it even more.  This template was adapted from the lovely Bird’s Cards but I did change it as I just wanted the hearts.  Bird makes amazing templates for us Eclips users, and has also inspired me in so many of my projects with her skills!
